What you are applying for
Turkey offers Pakistani students two ways in: the fully funded Türkiye Scholarships programme, which also places you at a university, or direct admission as a self-funded student. Either way you enter on a student visa and then apply for a student residence permit — the ikamet — once you arrive.
The visa is rarely the hard part. The decisions that matter come earlier: whether you win a scholarship in a short annual window, whether the university and programme are sound, and whether the degree will be recognised by HEC — and, for medicine or dentistry, by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council — when you come home.
Most refusals come down to one of four
- 01The acceptance letter
- 02Funding that covers it
- 03A verifiable university
- 04The ikamet on time
